Chiara took her Silverstick hoodie and beanie on a ski trip to Colorado.

'Finding the perfect clothes to ski in can be a challenge. When I look for a hoodie, I need a something that is warm yet not sweaty, comfortable yet not too baggy (so that it doesn’t limit my movements) and this hoodie is the perfect combination of all of that.

I am spending a month skiing around Colorado, in the U.S., and the weather is very variable – it ranges from -15 to +5 degrees Celsius. There was only so much I could pack and I’m glad I brought this hoodie with me. It’s great as a mid-layer, worn under a jacket when it’s snowing, windy and cold. But it is also perfect worn on its own on a sunnier day.

I have to say, it is surprisingly water-resistant: I stacked it a few times while skiing and got covered in snow, but the hoodie dried off quickly. I wear it when I ski, and I wear it when I get home – I basically live in it. Every time I wash it, it comes out looking brand new and that’s unusual for most of my hoodies which often get quite worn out after a few washes.

Along with the hoodie, I got a very cosy and warm beanie, which I either wear under my helmet when I ski or at the end of the day when I take off my ski gear and drive home. Thanks to Silverstick, I managed to stay warm, comfortable and look good, so I am overall very satisfied with my purchases!'
