Cycling to Paris on L'Avenue Verte
Posted on 15 July 2026
Otis and Maisie took their Silverstick tees and socks from Dieppe to Paris on a 4-day cycle trek along the Avenue Verte, pitching their hammocks in bivouac camp sites each night and bathing in streams to beat the 40-degree heat wave. The path took them from an abandoned railway line to the hilly countryside of Beauvais, and they eventually made it to Paris for a quick Croissant before speeding off to Fontainebleau to cool off in the Seine.
"We packed incredibly light and only took the clothes on our backs. We were very grateful for these Silverstick t-shirts as they served us some good sun protection and comfort on the journey. The tops and sports socks faced four days of sweat and grime and with that plenty of river washes, and still came out the other side looking pristine."
"We’re sure these Silverstick tees and socks haven’t seen their last adventure, spread your wings! Consider a couple of Silverstick garms for your next adventure, they won’t let you down."
